The University City Keystone Innovation Zone has an incredible concentration of resources for supporting life sciences and IT startups. Home to numerous tech companies, several major universities, non-profit research institutes, and research and teaching hospitals, our community has the infrastructure and resources growing tech companies need. Keystone Innovation Zones are a major initiative of Governor Edward G. Rendell to build knowledge-based economies and cultivate entrepreneurship in Pennsylvania. The goal of the program is to create the necessary support networks within existing communities to maintain and grow the pipeline of budding innovators and dynamic new companies that will help shape the future of Pennsylvania’s economy.”
